    They’re “driving through there” because of the city’s ill-considered decision to make their roundabouts impassible to large vehicles, which absolutely will try to drive down them during massive traffic disruptions like the 31 project which has been on the calendar for YEARS, including when they were planning their downtown roundabouts.

    Remember….Our esteemed Mayor, also pressed for the new intersection with 31, to be main street, instead of Carmel drive. Wonder how this is going to work out for delivery semi’s! This is not going to end up pretty.

      London has a network of freight depots that transfer goods from large trucks to smaller “locals” that can navigate the streets. This adds a massive load of price pressure on every product, because delivery costs nearly twice as much. Carmelites are about to find out the price of their “quaint” downtown that is completely impassable for delivery vehicles is the most expensive decision they’ve made in recent memory because it will soon cost more–a lot more–to get goods delivered there.
