Union Brewing Co., 622 S. Range Line Rd., opened late last month. The brewing company, founded by Jay Snider, Cameron Fila and Nathan Doyle, focuses on “real ale,” which emphasizes unfiltered and unpasteurized beer which is conditioned and served from a cask without additional nitrogen or carbon dioxide pressure.

Hand pulling all of its beer with traditional beer engines, Union Brewing Co. has a clear focus on locally-brewed, authentic beer. In addition to their own batches, the brewing company features a number of guest taps from other local Indiana breweries. For more information, visit www.unionbrewingco.com.

Great place. I have already been there a few times and service and beer both have been top notch. Check it out!

After much anticipation and delay, I would say the term ” real ale” may lead to some personal interpretation here. Simple marketing a product as an “authentic beer” does not equate a quality beer. Adding too many personal nuances to a batch does not always tanslate into great mastering of a brew.
This new addition to the district needs to up it’s game, their cave-like atmosphere needs vast improvement. Disappointing.

Ridiculous! Union Brewing has soul. The district needs to up its game to match the heart of this place.
