Punch Burger now open in Carmel
Punch Burger – the newest eatery to join Buckingham Company’s Providence at Old Meridian – is now open at 12525 Old Meridian Street, Suite 100, in Carmel.
Punch Burger serves locally sourced grass-fed Angus beef, turkey and duck, gourmet buns, unique toppings, milkshakes, and a variety of locally produced craft beers and wine. The 2,675 square-foot Punch Burger is the second location in central Indiana.
The new location is owned by franchisee Matt McGraw, who worked as the general manager at downtown Indianapolis’ Ohio Street restaurant before expanding the brand to Carmel.
“Carmel seemed like the perfect location for a second Punch Burger with all the construction and community activity happening in its core,” stated McGraw in a news release. “It’s an exciting place for us to open and offer our popular burgers.”
The Carmel location will serve the original menu, including signature items like the Burnt Cheese Burger, featuring three pieces of sharp cheddar burnt to form a ring around the burger patty; the Thai Burger with peanut butter, Asian slaw and sweet chili sauce; and the Aloha Burger with ham, pineapple and Swiss cheese.
Like the downtown location, Carmel’s Punch Burger will have its own independent Burgers of the Moment, a custom burger creation that rotate about every month.
“We kept families in mind when designing the new store by adding more seating, and the larger outdoor patio provides a great atmosphere,” McGraw stated. “Customers will enjoy the closer view of the kitchen area to watch how Punch Burgers are made.”
Punch Burger joins a list of other eateries at Providence at Old Meridian, including Crust Pizzeria Napoletana, The Stacked Pickle, Yats, Miracle Sushi and Brockway Public House.
Punch Burger brings more than 16 new jobs to Carmel.
“Punch Burger rounds out a great retail and restaurant mix at Providence, not only for our residents, but for the community,” stated John Cumming, senior vice president, commercial real estate at Buckingham Companies. “Providence at Old Meridian has become a destination.”
