Farmers Group, Inc., will stop covering homeowners for bites by three breeds, saying they are responsible for a quarter of all claims in California. To deal with the skyrocketing claims and attendant expense, insurers have adopted a number of new measures, the insurance institute said. Some, like Farmers, are asking customers to sign waivers acknowledging that bites will not be covered under certain circumstances.

Others are charging people extra for breeds like pitbulls, or refusing to cover dog bites altogether.

Still more insurers use what they call the “one-bite rule,” saying they’ll cover an attack the first time it happens – not if the animal bites someone else at another time. http://www.nbclosangeles.com/news/local/Insurers-Bark-Back-Denying-Dogbite-Coverage-for-Owners-of-Pit-Bulls-Rottweilers-and-Wolf-Hybrids-190886781.html

THANKS TO THE PIT BULLS, EVERYONE HAS TO PAY THE PRICE IN INCREASED HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE.

The Humane Society is a business, a business with a product that not many want. Thus the promotion. Lies, myths, and propaganda go along with their promotion of pit bulls. Gone are the days when pit attacks came from abused pits, these days beloved pits are killing their families, pits that share the bed with their masters. 55% of the attacks these days come from beloved pits, not abused or stray pits.

A Shetland pony and a Clydesdale are the same species but look at the purpose bred traits. Somehow, pit pushers think they don’t look completely stupid when they deny this.

On average in 2015 someone was killed by a pit bull every 13 days. Some of these pit bull attacks were from the family dog that was well trained and had never shown signs of aggression before. The only common in these severe and often fatal attacks is not abuse or lack of training, it is breed. Choose the breed of dog you trust the lives of your loved ones with wisely.

Please anyone reading, never adopt a pit bull. Contact your municipal representatives to enact legislation that will protect people form the maulings and deaths that are now happening on a regular basis, from pit bulls.

At last some agreement!! I have written 3 or 4 comments in the Current in the past as well as submitted the same to “Let it Out” and letters to the editor with zero comments that agreed with me. I guess one has to be the editor. My comments and those here all advise or speak against Pit Bulls, but those here do not give any solutions to solve the problem. I was more specific about the solving……..I believe that owning and/or breeding Pit Bulls (American Bull Dogs)or any dog that has been bred with Pit Bulls should be against the law and all existing such dogs should be put to sleep or otherwise destroyed. The AKA should take these dogs off there list and not recognize them as a breed.
Every city, county, and state should have the same law on their books serving the citizenship. Some drastic has to be done to stop these dogs vicious attacks on people; mostly children and older people who are either killed or left with horrible scars for life. I can hear the dog lovers and those who promote dog fighting screaming and yelling now. Well, I am a dog lover and have had many various breeds thru the years and I still think the above is the right way to handle this problem.

The kindest thing for this breed is to ban breeding them. Most pit bulls end up being abandoned, neglected, starved, tied outside on a tow truck chain, fought, euthanized, shot. Very luck few make it to old age in a loving, stable home. Why bring more puppies into a life like that?
