Sounds like ole Jim is now at a stage for publicly grooming his replacement – especially if he is thinking about moving onto another venture.

Just remember he needs someone who will “let sleeping dogs lie” and most importantly not call for an comprehensive, detailed audit as was done at Beech Grove in 2013 after the change in mayoral administration. I seem to remember that there were wide spread financial accounting problems and files which disappeared.

There are any number of King James’ yes men on the council who would gladly fill this role and keep his highness’ excessive spending outside the public eye for many years to come.
