So the talk in the shop this week is over how our beloved country is giving in to every little whiney thing that bothers somebody. So many issues to cover I’ll do a take on one that really got me going, the confederate flag and ‘The Dukes of Hazard!’ I found out that Mattel will no longer be making the General Lee car with the confederate flag on the top of it because it offends “some” people.

TV Land which is owned by Viacom is taking the show off the air for good and Bubba Watson, the golfer, is taking it off his General Lee.  Viacom, owners of multiple trashy shows like ‘Jersey Shore’ and ‘Party Down South’ is removing one of the most wholesome shows ever that had 30 million viewers a week that never made a stink.

‘Dukes of Hazard’ had moral fiber and was one of the most anti-racist shows ever. My country is turning into a big hypocritical complaint that you can fly one flag and not another without even looking at its history and what it really meant telling people they can or can’t get married, pointing fingers at your choices and deciding for you. Is this what you want so as not to offend anyone? Hefty price for that man.

I’ve got a great idea,  if you want to fly a flag at your house that’s not lude…go ahead,  if you want to marry someone you love…go ahead, if you want to smoke pot in your home…go ahead  as long as you’re not hurting others or encroaching on their rights.   Treat others as you wish to be treated and be cool to me and I’m cool with you no matter what race, religion or country you’re from!  If you want to change something significant and make a positive change quit believing what politicians tell you and fight for some term limits!  GOD BLESS AMERICA!
