Staff report

Indiana small business owners and professionals that are looking to expand their networking, resources and learning opportunities will have the opportunity to attend the Indiana Small Business Expo from 4 to 8:30 p.m. March 19 at Ritz Charles in Carmel.

Between 600 and 1,000 professionals typically will attend the event, which features a vendor expo hall, business card exchange table, speakers and more.

Business counselor, coach and CEO Cathy Padgett organized the first Indiana Small Business Expo five years ago to help people wanting information and resources on starting and running a business successfully.

People that attend can chat with local and statewide exhibitors, as well as register for cash prizes and giveaways. A panel discussion with expert tips on strategies for small business marketing and technology starts at 6:30 p.m., beginning with remarks by special guest Kendall Johnson, Indianapolis Colts Chaplain.

People interested in attending can register at no cost at https://isbemarch192014.eventbrite.com or pay $10 admission at the door. For more information about the event, which is open to the public, please visit http://www.indianasbc.com.
